We pride ourselves on our country cooking. Using freshly sourced Lancashire ingredients, our brilliant resident chef creates menus based on pub classics but always with a twist. Try sticky ribs in our homemade sauce, juicy steaks served just as you like them or fresh fish simply cooked.
Being bang on the North Lancashire and South Cumbria border, we are surrounded by farmers offering local specialities. This helps us to keep our dishes low on food miles and high on flavour. Bed and Breakfast stays include our sumptuous start to the day, a hearty Lancashire breakfast.
Children are welcome - we have activity bags to keep them happy and a special menu of delicious fresh home cooked food that will appeal just to them - no frozen pizza here! We are dog friendly too - dogs are welcome to accompany you if you are eating in the bar area.
