Funeral Teas

Over the years, we have organised many funeral teas and memorial parties, and understand that this is an exceptionally hard time for families, friends and all concerned. We appreciate the importance of these events and our aim is to give you a sympathetic and personal service during a difficult time. Therefore we have created various menu options to alleviate some of the stress.

Personal service

If you require menus to be tweaked or would like to discuss drinks options, we will happily talk this over with you. Depending on your time restrictions we can quite easily cope with discussing the arrangements over the phone, although we are always happy to arrange a meeting.

Short notice no problem

We have the ability to work at short notice; all we need is for you confirm which menu option you have decided on, and give us an idea of the number of people that you are expecting 2 days before the event.

Your own private function suite

To ensure your privacy, funeral teas are held in The Lapwing Room. We always make sure that our buffets are generous, so if a few unexpected guests arrive, there will still be enough for everyone.

Easy to find with planty of free parking

The Longlands is easy for guests to find and our proximity to junction 35 on the M6, makes us well placed for funerals in Lancaster and Morecambe or guests who have travelled a long distance. There is plenty of free parking space outside.
