Country Inn in Lancashire

A real country inn with nooks and crannies, old beams and a bit of an uneven floor, our bar is typical of an old-fashioned country pub where villagers meet to relax and welcome visitors to this lovely corner of the North Lancashire, South Cumbria countryside.

Local bands

On Mondays The Longlands Inn really comes to life for our band night, with an acoustic set between 8pm & 10pm.

Relax with friends

On other nights it’s more of a relaxed tempo with people enjoying a drink and a chat. Real ales, local beers and fine wines.  Our wide range of hand pulled ales will capture the imagination of anyone who loves real ale, for others we have a selection of lagers, bitters, and unusual spirits. Our wine list has been carefully created by our local wine merchant, with a collection of different styles and vintages from all round the world.

Bar meals

Bar snacks are served from 12pm - 2.30pm and 5.30pm -9.30pm  – things like delicious doorstop sandwiches or our special savoury platters.

A dog friendly pub

Dogs and dog lovers are given a warm welcome at The Longlands Inn. If you’re lucky you might spot  Ronnie, our much-loved black lab, padding around looking for a warm pair of feet to go to sleep on.
