St George's Day in England remembers St George, England's patron saint. The anniversary of his death, which is on April 23, is seen as England's national day. According to legend, he was a soldier who killed a dragon and saved a princess. The footie will be on and you can enjoy at pint or two at the bar to celebrate.

We have a jampacked weekend of entertainment for you over the long Easter weekend. On Easter Sunday we have the great Easter Sunday Lunch which is served all day. There will be Face painting and crafts for the children. Then from 5 pm until 8 pm we have a favourite band playing live in the bar area.
Why not end your Easter Sunday with a few glasses of chilled wine or a beer or two while enjoying live music from the ever-popular band The Truce. The local boy band will be playing in the bar area from 5 pm until 8 pm. What makes it even better is the fact everyone can have a lie-in on Easter Monday morning. Come down and enjoy the atmosphere.
